Black Widow is one of the most infamous strains in the Female X-Line collection which has been receiving the highest praises from all over the world since 1994 when she was first introduced. She is a sativa/indica cross with distinct sativa dominance and combines the genotypes of a Brazilian Sativa and a South Indian Indica hybrid. The counterpart to her White sibling, Female Black Widow has high natural THC level achieved through selective breeding; she is more stable than the White Widow and is able to produce better yield.
This Female X-Line marijuana variety shows an excellent rate of germination whatever methods you choose - between wet sheets of a kitchen towel or directly in soil. Her feminized seeds can be grown indoors and outdoors and finish by the middle of October. They show some indica characteristics from the start, growing quite bushy and may develop a typical x-mas tree look. However, during the 3rd week of vegetation, they start stretching and may need some training.
Female Black Widow is a really commercial strain. For indoor growing, 8 to 10 weeks of flowering are necessary to produce the immense resin of which this marijuana plant is capable; she responds well to any growing methods and can be flowered at as little as 6-9 inches and finish at 2-2.5 foot with a huge single cola and tiny branches with fat sticky buds. Outdoors, her feminized seeds grow their best in areas with a stable warm climate where they can reach 4 foot or more; high rainfall can result in reduced yield. This marijuana variety is excellent for cloning. Another tip to get the most of X-Line Black Widow is to find the right level of nutriets. She grows in anything you give her but but really thrives when she gets what she wants.
During flowering, Black Widow develops a good wine flavour which remains in the dried marijuana. Smoking is exctremely pleasant with a taste of spicy herbs combines with a thick expensive dense smoke - very seductive.
